Privacy policy
Your files go between your Mac and the storage services you choose. Bouquet does not route them through a server operated by its developer.
Last updated:
Bouquet is a macOS app made by Einar Andersson in Sweden. This policy covers Bouquet, these product pages, and information you choose to send for support.
Data in the app
Bouquet has no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not send your credentials, file contents, bucket names, or activity to me.
To provide the features you use, Bouquet processes data on your Mac:
- Credentials for connections added in Bouquet are stored in macOS Keychain. Secret values added as hook environment variables are also stored in Keychain.
- If you grant access to your AWS configuration folder, Bouquet reads the profiles and authentication data there. AWS SSO sign-in uses AWS services and a local token cache.
- Connection settings, favorites, folder permissions, sync settings, and hook configuration are stored locally. File previews and transfers can create temporary local copies; folder sync keeps local records of file changes.
Services you connect
Bouquet sends requests directly to Amazon Web Services or the S3-compatible endpoint you configure. Those services receive the authentication information, files, object names, and metadata needed for the operations you request, along with connection information such as your IP address. Their privacy policies and your agreements with them govern their handling of that data.
Optional HTTP hooks send the information you configure to the chosen URL. CloudFront hooks send invalidation requests to AWS. Shell hooks receive the connection’s credentials and changed object names, and can access files or contact other services according to the commands you provide. With the optional hook runner installed, shell hooks run outside the app sandbox.
Support and diagnostics
If you email me, I receive your email address and anything you include, such as a description of the problem, screenshots, or logs. I use this information to respond and investigate the issue, and my email provider processes the correspondence to deliver and store it. Please leave out credentials and private file contents.
Apple may provide crash reports, usage information, and TestFlight feedback under its own privacy terms and your sharing settings. Bouquet does not include a separate automatic reporting service. See Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
These pages use no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies. The site is hosted on AWS; its infrastructure processes connection information, such as your IP address and the requested URL, to serve the pages and protect the service.
Retention and your choices
Saved app settings and credentials remain on your Mac until removed. Removing a connection created in Bouquet also removes its saved credentials from Keychain. Profiles you manage in AWS configuration files remain in those files. Removing a connection does not delete files in your storage account or downloads on your Mac.
You can disable or remove hooks and folder syncs in the app. You control your storage account and can revoke credentials through your provider. Contact support if you need help removing other local app data.
I keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, follow up on the issue, or meet legal obligations. You can contact me to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have sent. I do not sell that information or use it for advertising.
